SELF-REGULATED LEARNING SKILLS OF PRE-SERVICE ENGLISH LANGUAGE TEACHERS

This study aimed to investigate the self-regulated learning skills of pre-service English language teachers in terms gender and grade level. The sample consisted 223 who at a state university Turkey. For data collection, ‘Self-regulating Learning Skills Scale (SRLSS)’ was used. Data were analyzed quantitatively via SPSS by using descriptive statistics, independent samples t-test, one-way between-groups ANOVA. Descriptive statistics indicated that have high level skills. In addition, participants’ differed based on gender, favor females. Moreover, statistically significant difference found only between second third graders. results discussed regarding previous research some pedagogical implications suggestions made. yields an important opportunity for further understanding EFL teachers' SRL aspires be beneficial teachers, teacher educators, curriculum developers.<p> </p><p><strong> Article visualizations:</strong></p><p><img src="/-counters-/edu_01/0095/a.php" alt="Hit counter" /></p>
